i 'ad a little drink about an hour ago, 'nd its gone straight to me head....

*yawn* We are tired this week! Much studying for our snailey exams and working towards our snailey coursework has left us all feeling poorly and longing for christmas!
There were no advent chocolates for us, but we did get some dog biscuits which we do seem to quite like.

Mendel and myself  seem to have formed a strong friendship, Mendel is defiantly coming out of his shell a bit now (excuse the pun). Watson & Crick, always together, both seem quite content with their lives.

Due to our ever increasing size, we think it might be time for a new house. Or maybe even two new houses. One for Mendel and me, and one for Crick and Watson (although i hope they don't get a house too near to ours... they're quite noisy, and steal our ideas!)

We have our christmas decorations up now :-) There is a tree and everything- i shall get a photo ready for next week entry! All we need now is a snailey santa, some chestnuts and maybe an open fire and we shall be sorted!

Love to all our slimy and not so slimy friends alike!

Gloop! xXxXxXxXx

I must see the decorations! The snaily siblings would love decorations - so exciting! My guys have a bigger heat mat and I have an electric blanket (fair is fair). It is soooo cold! Pics Hanie! We need pics!
Are you bringing the snailies home for Christmas?

I think my snails are a little glum:( I don't think they are completely happy with their conditions at present. I've got them a bigger heat mat but maybe the substrate is still too wet. It's not that easy keeping snails. But they are eating! They have lovely lettuce and courgette and snail mash and pumpkin seeds. They are like little royalty:)

hmm... well mine do not have a heat mat- but they live in front of the radiator, and they seem quite happy there. Mine have no snail mash or pumpkin seeds, although they do have their favorite lidls lettuce. i don't water my snails all that often. About 200 ml of warm water every 10 days or so, they seem happy with that. Also they come out every now and again a sit on my hand!
They will defiantly be home for christmas, they would be lonely, and cold here on their own. They shall have christmas dinner!
Maybe you could get your snails a house plant! although i suppose they would only eat it, instead of admiring it! I need a new cuttle fish- they eat sooo much of it!
