i 'ad a little drink about an hour ago, 'nd its gone straight to me head....

*yawn* We are tired this week! Much studying for our snailey exams and working towards our snailey coursework has left us all feeling poorly and longing for christmas!

There were no advent chocolates for us, but we did get some dog biscuits which we do seem to quite like. 

Mendel and myself  seem to have formed a strong friendship, Mendel is defiantly coming out of his shell a bit now (excuse the pun). Watson & Crick, always together, both seem quite content with their lives. 

Due to our ever increasing size, we think it might be time for a new house. Or maybe even two new houses. One for Mendel and me, and one for Crick and Watson (although i hope they don't get a house too near to ours... they're quite noisy, and steal our ideas!)

We have our christmas decorations up now :-) There is a tree and everything- i shall get a photo ready for next week entry! All we need now is a snailey santa, some chestnuts and maybe an open fire and we shall be sorted!

one more for the road...

Wow- friday rolls round quick doesn't it?! 

We have more cos lettuce from Lidls- it is amaaaazing! And guess what- we're growing! You would hardly recognize us- this photo was taken last week- and i swear we're twice that size now! We have a whole new bit of shell bout a cm wide! Its al soft and delicate!

When the mood takes us, we like sleeping upside down on the roof of our house- this is a little risky though- as hannah sometimes takes our roof off to take a peek, and we all fall down!

We met a new friend today- he is a travel kitty! We didn't catch his name- he spoke very fast-although we're meeting for a coffee and a  photo shoot next week, so stay tuned in for more news on that to come!

Advent calenders on monday!!! Do we have advent calenders?! We spy 2 cadburys ones on Hannah's shelves- but we suspect they're not for us!

Settling in!

End of week one. We have had a pleasant, if not slightly busy week! We are getting to know Hannah and her strange ways, and she is getting to know us. She has been keeping a diary of our progress- humans are strange!

We have found out that we think our scientific name is Achatina achatina- although we're a little unsure of what species we are!

We were unimpressed with mixed flourette salad, although we love courgette and cos lettuce from lidls. Thats our favorite! We are especially pleased with our cuttlefish bone! We are quite noisy eaters with the cuttlefish! Munch munch!

Mendel is a small little snailie- while Darwin is a big'un, and defiantly the most active- he often crawls over the rest of us!!!

We've even been for trips to the outside of our tank this week- onto a giant hand!

We're getting used to feeding time, and love to sneak out of our shells just in time for Hannah to put our new courgette into the tank!

We've eaten all our food! When do the people go shopping? Do we eat grass?!!!! Or apples??

Noooooo cuttlefishies!!! We are worried about our shells!?! How long will our shells stay beautiful and shiny without calcium?? We saw Hanie trying to order some online earlier, but none of the sites would work! She tried her best!!! Where is there nearest petshop?!
